This guide outlines installing DUO devices on Microsoft Windows. Before starting verify that your system meets all the system requirements.
Download the latest DUO Software to start using your device. On Windows the DUO requires a device driver which is included in the installer.
The DUO Installer is signed by Code Laboratories, Inc. for the Windows environment. It is recommended that you have a valid installer file by comparing the checksums of the file with one from our website. Upon running the installer you will be prompted to go through steps which will customize the installation.
Connect the DUO to your computer with the supplied USB cable. Avoid USB hubs or multipliers, plug directly into your computer for best performance.
After the installation you will have new applications available on your system. By default all applications are installed in the user directory at C:\USERS\USERNAME\DOCUMENTS\DUO3D
within this folder there is a folder called Applications
that contains the Dashboard, Calibration and Firmware Update applications. Running the Dashboard application will let you test if your DUO device is properly installed, tweak its parameters and view the output. You can learn more about developing your own applications in our SDK Docs.
Once your device is installed properly you can start reading the DUO Dashboard article to get started on the following steps:
