Hi developers,
I use Ubuntu 16.04.2 and the kernel 4.10.0-35. The kernel support is just up to 4.4.x-xx. When will be your kernel extension available for my kernel and newer version. In my opinion your solution with releasing an extension for every single kernel version is very hard to maintain. It would be more feasible for advanced users to compile the extensions from source on their own systems.
I suggest that you don’t want to publish your sources, but this would be the better way.
Best regards,
Fabian
Seconded on both points. I have just ordered and need a driver for 4.10.0-35-generic, or the ability to build from source!!
Hey Michael,
I wrote to the developers and got a script, which contains some “Magic” code lines and a binary blog at the end. This extracts two kernel extensions. One of them is working for me.
Maybe you could ask at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or I could send it to you.
Best regards,
Fabian
Hi Fabian,
Did you manage to install the drivers for 4.10.0 kernel?
Hey Ardop,
yes, the way with the script worked for me. I use the kernel Extension with -512 Suffix. The other one did not work for me.
Hey Fabian
Facing the same issue here…
Could you send me the script which you received from the support?
Thanks in advance
Tobias
If you provide me your mail address or you could send me a short mail.

Hello,
My Ubuntu has 4.15.0-29-generic 4.15.0-45-generic kernel, I think Duo camera is not working as whenever I opened the compiled examples or dashboard, it just hangs. Also I loaded and installed the 1025-prefix driver.
Can you kindly send me the kernel file? My email is .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
