Hey DUOers,

We are proud to announce full support for ARM based devices running the latest Linux and Android kernels. With this we realize our embedded system goals to create a wide range of new uses and applications for the DUO sensor. We have extended our solutions adding an open source kernel level module that minimizes processor usage during image capture to practically 0% CPU.

Our first officially supported ARM device is the Radxa Rock dev board which features a Quad Core ARM Cortex-A9 processor running at up to 1.8GHz, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 8GB Nand flash. This is a great board for getting started with embedded computer vision on Android and Linux. When paired with a DUO sensor it gives you the ability to do mobile stereo imaging.

We also have released the DUO API/SDK v0.5.7.22 update which brings revisions for stability and portability.

Release Notes

- 32/64-bit Windows DUOLib Libraries (msvc2010 and msvc2012 support)
- 32/64-bit Linux DUOLib Libraries
- Signed all Windows libraries with CL Certificate
- Qt Integration Guide added (http://duo3d.com/docs/articles/integration-qt)

We will keep you updated as we roll out the ARM updates and others throughout the upcoming months.

See you in the signals!

What’s the status of general availability of the duo sdk code and binaries for ARM platforms?

It appears that the sdk “v0.5.7.22 update” does not contain arm compatible libraries, nor does it contain the source part of “open source”. (Is the source available elsewhere on eg github?)

Your product site implies that the duo sdk is compatible with and available for the nvidia jetson tk1 board, which is the arm platform we’re specifically interested in using.
Can you give us an ETA for sdk availability for the Jetson?
Thanks!

We would be very interested in ARM support, using either a Linux or Android host.

Is it possible to get a binary of the ARM-compiled library? It seems not to be included in the published SDK release (DUO3D-SDK-v0.5.7.22.zip).

Thanks.

@ToddStellanova
@MiguelSoto

We are working hard on finalizing the public ARM release of our SDK that includes the open source kernel level driver.
We expect taking it out of the private testing early October. If you are interested, we can get you in our beta program sooner.

Thanks,
AlexP

When can we expect a release of the SDK for ARM?

Has an SDK for ARM been released yet? Working with an odroid U3+ running lubuntu.
