We are proud to announce full support for ARM based devices running the latest Linux and Android kernels. With this we realize our embedded system goals to create a wide range of new uses and applications for the DUO sensor. We have extended our solutions adding an open source kernel level module that minimizes processor usage during image capture to practically 0% CPU.
Our first officially supported ARM device is the Radxa Rock dev board which features a Quad Core ARM Cortex-A9 processor running at up to 1.8GHz, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 8GB Nand flash. This is a great board for getting started with embedded computer vision on Android and Linux. When paired with a DUO sensor it gives you the ability to do mobile stereo imaging.
We will keep you updated as we roll out the ARM updates and others throughout the upcoming months.
See you in the signals!
